International Traveling Exhibition WAG Children Project (WAG CHAP Traveling Exhibition)

WAG Children Art Project Exhibition (WAG CHAP), presented during the 3th World Art Games 2016 at Montenegro, become a WAG CHAP Traveling Exhibition.

Azerbaijan and Mexico are the first country’s who will show the WAG CHAP Traveling Exhibition in their country’s. Afterwards the WAG CHAP Traveling Exhibition probably will travel through Vienna, Netherlands, Croatia and New Zealand, 

WAG NL is proud and honoured to received:
- three certificates of participation in the 3th World Art Games, held in Montenegro 2016 (Bikkel, Eugenie Herlaar, Jelena Popadic)
- one medal for glass art (jelena Popadic)
- one acknowledgment for coordinating of WAG Children Project 2015-2016 (Bikkel Artist)

Almost from the founding of the World Art Games (WAG) in Croatia (2010), Bikkel is asked to set up WAG NL and to bring together a group of NL artists of different disciplines and represent Netherlands overseas with them.

WAG NL Activity’s:

  • WAG NL joined WAG Project “Friends of Children” (2014-2015). WAG NL is proud on the cooperation with ReviusLyceum Maassluis (HAVO, VWO school) in this project. In NL students at this project have started to make portraits of each other (film, painting, drawing, collage, sculptures) after communication about their both hobby’s, interests, etc.
  • WAG NL attended the WAG Collection Exhibition at Vienna (Austria) at Palais Porcia (2014)

Students, teached by Yvonne Larmene, started with the Project, making a portret of each other, stating the caracter of the person. 
Finaly this can produced in film, photography, painting, collage, poem.

Bikkel, in cooperation with Yvonne Larmene, select the best artworks and show them in World Art Games 2015 in Bratislava

Samuel Dumfries: "In Gallery Kunst aan de Kade the WAG group gave an art presentation to honor the Turkish artist who also presented their art and craft. The dutch WAG group represented by Samuel, Jaffar, Bikkel and Slavko combined their art were Samuel presented two poems with Jaffar on then djembe while a new painting was made by Master slavko and master Bikkel.
At the end of the evening the painting was donated to Roley who is the manager of the gallery and who appreciated this very much."

Project idea: To give waterbottles second live to be in the future a place for people of Ludbreg to put in the open bottle spaces wishes they want to share.

WAG Project Hope & Love” at Antun Bauer School Wall in Vukovar 2012 at 2th WAG International Art Colony in Vukovar 2012.

Together with the help of Schoolchildren, of Director of Antun Bauer School, of Government of Vukovar, of Artists of Vukovar, of Peter Weisz and Artists of WAG, of neigh boroughs of Antun Bauer School, Bikkel intended to bring Hope & Love at Vukovar by paintbrush all together Dutch flowers at  Antun Bauer School Wall at Vukovar, Croatia.

Bikkel spray-paint portrait of Antun Bauer, Nobel Prize winner, in the middle of the school wall. And she spray-paint four QR codes in between.
